Ebola: What You Need to Know - Security Spotlight

The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared that the Ebola outbreak in West Africa has reached the proportions of an international health emergency and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has confirmed three cases of Ebola diagnosed in the U.S.  Two of those individuals contracted the disease from a patient who was infected outside of the U.S.  The third individual contracted it while treating patients outside the U.S.

While it is believed that Ebola will not be a major health issue among the U.S. population, you need to be educated and understand how Ebola is transmitted, its symptoms, and how to protect yourself against the possibility of exposure.
